We have been working at various centres about Polygons. Ask your child about tangrams.
Writing:
We are going to be moving into poetry now that our fairytales are complete.
Reading:
We have been reading to gather information about Peru and Rocks and Minerals. We will continue to read about poetry as we move into our Poetry writing unit.

This week we had our "Scientists in School" presentation on Rocks and Minerals. It was a great introduction as we move into gathering more information about Rocks and Minerals through our next 14 centres that we will explore.Social Studies:
We are continuing our work on the Peru projects which we can't wait to share with you at Student Led Parent Teacher Conferences coming up!
Buddies:
This week we got to go snowshoeing with our buddies. It was a great adventure!
