Learning Update

Math
In Math we have been learning about data management. We used the data that we collected about the weather in May and we made a tally chart and a picture graph to represent the information. We then analyzed and interpreted the data by asking and answering questions. We also learned about bar graphs.

Science/Writing
We started our final project this week which is a combination of Science and Writing. We will be creating mixed beasts out of animals from two different animal groups. First we are doing research on 3 animals from different groups to help us decide which combination would be the best.

Social Studies
This week we began exploring Tunisia. We watched a video and made wonders about what we saw. We have also been looking at the map of Tunisia and are learning the names of different cities and areas in the country.

Gym
This week we had our Hoop Dancing residency. We learned about the First Nations culture and we had 4 classes teaching us how to make different shapes and do different dance moves using hoops. We also got to watch the instructor, Miss Jessica, give us a special performance.
